Brian E Workman

Brian's career in the automotive industry spans over 45 years. I am told I took things apart at an early age, 2. A very curious person, Brian always needed to know how something worked. At age 5, I was doing brake repairs with my father. In my teens, pulling motors, transmissions, doing light general repairs and when possible, taking evening classes on auto technology at local high schools.

In the 1970's Brian attended Union County technical school where he took diesel engine theory and repair, outboard marine engines and outdrives, Automatic transmissions I, II and III.

Brian Workman Brian went to work for the instructor of the transmissions class who had an independent shop in New Jersey. When he sold the business, Brian moved on to work for an AAMCO center owner who had 3 stores in the New Jersey. In late 1987 Brian went to work for the Technical Services Department of AAMCO Transmissions. I spent 15 years there wearing many hats, and it was such a great job, access to so much technical information, plus what we developed in the way of parts and equipment, working with vendors, and suppliers, development of seminars, books, just a lot of training. Brian was dubbed the "Go to Guy" because he got things done.

During his tenure at AAMCO, Brian attended evening classes at Bucks County College where he studied electrical circuits, theory, design and repair.

In 2002 Brian went to work for Cottman Transmissions LLC technical department.
